Do you recognize the biblical color
scheme for this site?
Do you know where the colors are located in the bible?
As I started working with colors and laying out this site,
I very quickly found myself drawn to this color scheme.

Exodus 25: |
4. And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen,
and goats' hair, |
5. And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood, |
Exodus 26: |
1. Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet:
with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them. |
30.
And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed
thee in the mount. |
31. And thou shalt make a veil
of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work: with cherubims shall it be made: |
32. And thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of shittim wood overlaid with gold: their
hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. |

These were the primary
colors in the Tabernacle that God instructed Moses to build.
The veil in the temple was made from these colors.
St Matthew 27: |
50. Jesus, when he had cried again
with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51. And, behold, the veil of the temple was
rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks
rent; |
The scripture in Matthew tells how the
veil in the temple was torn apart (opened) when Jesus died on the cross. As the
opening of the veil represented the fact that man now had access to God through Jesus
Christ, our pray is that this site will (1) open the minds of those who are lost to the
fact that they can be saved by faith in Jesus Christ and (2) open the minds of Christian
believers to the wonderful truths of God that He has given us in His word so that they
might grow. |
2 Corinthians 4: |
3. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid
to them that are lost:
4. In whom the god of this world hath
blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel
of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. |
