Hi. I'm Kelvin Franklin.
Evangelist Charlotte Franklin is my wife and we sponsor
this site jointly. We were both born in Calhoun
County, Mississippi in 1962 and 1964. I was baptized and became a member of Bridges Chapel
Missionary Baptist Church, located in Pittsboro in 1972. She was a
member of Jackson Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in
Bruce, Mississippi. We have known each other since
kindergarten and have been married for
32 wonderful years.
Ministry
My parents raised me in the
church along with my two brothers. Learning to read at an early
age, my earliest memories are of reading the many versions of children's bibles available
in our home. Active in the church throughout my life, I began assisting in
teaching the youth Sunday school classes at church. By the time of graduation from
high school, I was serving as the church's Sunday School superintendent and alternate
Adult Sunday School Teacher. The Lord called me to the ministry in Madrid, Spain in
early 80's. I was licensed in the ministry in 1983 and ordained in 1988 by Bridges Chapel
Missionary Baptist Church, National Baptist Convention USA.
As a minister, I have served in the following capacities:
